So, Whats happening?...
So im super excited to announce we're having a GIRL! I'm already planning this chicks first outfit it's totally ridiculous! I'm thinking "yeah I'm going to have a friend I can chill and paint my nails with".... And that's when I realize how lame I actually am. That the only friends I have to do that with are my kids because the one friend I have (you know the one that you can sit with for hours without saying a word and feel complete, the one you are disgustingly comfortable with) decided to go have kids of her own and live on a farm or island or wherever she is, far far away from me! Like how selfish! Do you not know that you needed here! (yes people I'm being sarcastic) well..... So talking about kids this morning I realized that the only time my heart beats at rapid speed (beside everytime I see my husband) is when my 2 year old falls asleep in my arms and I now have to put him down without waking him. It's like a scene from mission impossible. You got the one arm under him so he can feel you still there while holding the bottle in the other hand to plug his mouth with incase he decides to scream for freedom from the dreaded prison he regards as sleep, with one foot to the ground while the other leg is in the air for balance to keep you from falling on top of the little guy and waking him up defeating the whole purpose of your super stealth like abilities to keep your child sleeping. Only to have the bugger wake up the moment you enter the other room! Being a parent is like a ninja only sad part I don't get the suit. Well without anyone trying to admit me into a looney bin! But it's true, you go into stealth mode every evening when it's bedtime or you attempt to leave the house without them! You hide things like a rat! You turn into an animal when you see your favorite sweet thing that you will not dare share! Your a convicted fellon where using the bathroom is NEVER private. Your like a drug lord sneaking out the toys they don't play with anymore. Because heaven forbid they ever catch you and whooow!.... Like "how dare you woman". And you become a rabid beast when someone dares insult or do anything to hurt your child. And you LOVE every moment. Because not having them in your life is like not having a pair of heels in my wardrobe (shocking, sad and totally NOT going to happen). My life revolves around my kid's and I'm not ashamed to say it, in fact im proud about it now. Because one thing that life and God has shown me the past week is that my life is perfect right now and only getting better. I'v learnt that it's the small things in life that matter like feeling my husbands foot brush against mine as we lay in bed, the totally irritating habit he has to pinch my cheek between his fingers because at least he's still touching me. The way my kids still reach toward me and say "mamma".... Life tends to beat you down and so do the people around you, I would not survive this world if I did not have Christ in my life!
Erinvale Hotel

I had the awesome opportunity to spend a night at Erinvale Hotel. I was welcomed, booked in and showed to my room by a wonderful gentleman by the name of Deon, he had a lovely smile, was warm and very welcoming. The room was lovely and kept in with the old cape dutch look the hotel has. First thing I did was jump into the oh so lovely Victorian bath (sorry no pics...)
Speaking out of my own experience there seems to be more chores and housework than there is time in the day. I am a VERY fortunate woman, my boys get collected by their school in the morning (a great school) and they get their cereal and lunch there too, so all I need to do with the boys is pack their snacks and make sure that they are dressed and have at least brushed their teeth and look semi decent for public viewing. THAT’S IT…. No rushing to get them to eat their breakfast because I happened to maybe give them the wrong flavor of the week, no chaos, no fuss! On top of that I am super blessed to be able to stay at home and work for myself (and that’s only because I LOVE doing what I do, and if I didn't I would go crazy!), I've been very blessed with a husband that would rather work more hours so that I can be at home with the kids than be a working mommy and them in a daycare the whole day, (not that I like the extra hours because we LOVE when daddy’s home). However I still seem to have the problem of more chores, endless washing, constant dirty dishes and fewer hours in the day. My question…. How in this world do the working mommy’s do it? I take my hat off to you ladies, you go work for someone else, to make them more money, clock off at work yet your “work” does not end because now you need to switch to mommy, wife and maid mode. The moment you are done with your housework and making sure that EVERYONE else is happy you maybe just maybe get to rest your head and then BEEEEEEP that stupid alarm and it starts all over again……
Ladies you are the true superhero mommy’s around and you guys are awesome!!!!! Please give me your feedback on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/dollstyl or email me dollstyling09@gmail.com I would love to hear from you and hear your stories.
The invisible superhero....
So this past weekend I took the boys tocheck out the Lourensford harvest market. Beside me being 4 months pregnant and feeling the heat slightly more than your average human being I was pleasantly surprised.
It is a small market but they cover all bases, they have your wines, brews, tea's, smoothies and of course coffee with your different food, jewelry, art and knick knack stalls. The set up is great, there is comfortable seating with light sprayers to cool you down. The vendors are welcoming and friendly, even allowing Adam (my youngest - 2 years at the time) to run behind their stall just so that he can stand in front of their fan to cool down and do the point and scream "PAN PAAAAAN" (translation "FAN FAAAAAN").

My boys enjoyed a lovely waffle from the market and the adults opted for a little something from the coffee roasting company situated on the estate a few steps away from the market. I have had better coffee I must say in all honesty however the store itself is great, you can choose your beans and they grind them for you and so forth.
The reason I will go back are the jumping castles and the slip 'n slide they have for the kids. They have so much fun and the parents can sit at the few tables that are provided or do it picnic style on the grass. The highlight of my visit I must say.

WARDROBE ANALYSIS
As the days are counting down toward the slightly warmer spring season most of us are worrying about the fact that we have nothing in our wardrobe. This is a great time to do a wardrobe analysis. With that you will know what to chuck and what you still might need. Trends are a fun and great way to update your wardrobe every season, however lets face it! Fashion is fickle! Those leopard print pants that were your most worn item last year has most probably been shoved way at the back of your closet! That is why everyone needs staples. Staple items are pieces that you will never regret purchasing because they don't go out of style. They can be mixed and matched with all the items in your wardrobe. Here we will give you a few staples for any wardrobe as well as some staple pieces for this spring.
STAPLE ITEMS FOR SPRING
